Meet Lawrence Covell's most vibrant new addition, Christian Wijnants!

Belgian fashion designer, Christian Wijnants, is our latest obsession. After finding success under notable designer, Dries Van Noten, Wijnants launched his independent brand in 2003.

Wijnants' fashion journey began in 1996 at the Royal Academy of Fine Art, where he discovered his knack for designing elegant, yet wearable designs. Wijnants' knowledge and use of knitted fabrics earned him the International Woolmark Prize in the year 2013, which propelled him to open his flagship store in Antwerp two years later. Now, the designer has introduced a successful men's line and is carried in boutiques and department stores worldwide.

Pulling inspiration from surrealism artists such as Salvador Dalí and René Magritte, Dada artists like Man Ray, and African folk art, Wijnants creates refreshing feminine silhouettes with a focus on flowing prints.

His 2022 pre-fall collection places emphasis on spirited graphics and exquisite craftsmanship throughout his knitwear and woven fabrics. Ideal for a night in Denver's Botanic Garden or a weekend trip to Aspen, Christian Wijnants' designs will have you feeling effortlessly refined and uniquely fantastic.
